Preliminary Profiles is a program of River Region Human Services, Inc., a leader in the area of substance abuse prevention, intervention, and treatment.  A key component of prevention is the establishment of drug free workplace programs.  Using these programs, Preliminary Profiles educates employers and employees about the issues surrounding drug use and abuse in the workplace. 

Establishing a drug free workplace communicates to employees that you value their health and safety, as well as providing them with a positive drug free working environment.  Taking steps to eliminate illicit drugs from the workplace creates a safer, more productive working environment. 

Our first step is to complete a cost-benefit analysis to illustrate how using the workers' compensation premium reduction credit for drug free workplaces, allows companies to save money when implementing a drug free workplace program.  Realizing that the best drug free workplace programs are the ones that also save the company money.
